Rocksports has come a long way in the last ten years. I remember when the biggest thing ever was the 2nd SuperCrawl. I think everyone had always hoped for a day when you could see that kind of crowd at a Rocksports event. Then 2 guys and a boat load of dedicated people with the same vision built a city in the desert called Hammertown.
The 2010 KOH event will generate over 100 million impressions worldwide when it’s all said and done, with national TV coverage on the Speed network July 4th (in a very good 9:30 am time slot). Last month you could not look at a newsstand and not see KOH on the cover of the off-road market. The next generation of Rocksports is here, leaving those two guys with some big questions.
What do we do for an encore?
What if you could race on brand new trails wheeled only by the hand that laid the first track on them? What if the builders of those trails where the Masters of our culture, the Icons of our sports?
What if there is so much more we have not even tried yet?
What if the high speed sections gave you views of the Eastern Sierra, and the expanses of Nevada desert?
What if the land was untouched by development, yet minutes from the bright lights of the big city?
What if we could capture the magic of an event like the Griffin King of the Hammers and package it into a Resort Casino?
What if there was an International airport with a shuttle service 5 minutes from the Resort?
What if you could fly across the globe for an Ultra4 race, party for the weekend and then fly home?
What if your family could lay by the pool while you pre-run?
What if your wife could stay in a 5 star hotel, while you chase dust?
What if you could hit the spa after a long day pre running?
What if you could entertain your sponsors without the wind blowing the campfire away?
What if you could party like a Rock-star in the nightclub after winning the race, with 100’s of your friends and a VIP table for the champion?
What if your team had the time of their lives at a resort that wants Ultra4 racing to come back year after year?
What if the City, County, Tourism board, and Business owners wanted you to be there, have a good time, and return every year?
What if the future of off-road racing put average 4 wheelers into the spotlights of the “Biggest little city in the world”?
What if our long term growth plans included racing down city streets, trade shows, industry parties, and Trail rides?
Hammerking Productions Ultra4 Stampede is coming to Reno Nevada Sept 8th through 12th. 2010 A whole new race, a whole new opportunity! “Far from Expected!”
Details to follow. Go to kingofthehammers.com for all the Ultra4 racing updates and gear.
